Daniel Montañez — The Church and Migration

Our next guest is Daniel Montañez. Daniel is an adjunct instructor at Pentecostal Theological Seminary and the Latino and Global Ministries Program at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. He is the founder and director of Mygration Christian Conference and leads the Church of God Migration Crisis Initiative. Daniel is dedicated to serving migrant communities through ministry, scholarship, and social engagement.

Hope at the Border

After my trip, I leave with a much better understanding of the South Texas border. In its history, I found it to have always been a place of hope and refuge. I think about Eunice offering the “Good News” to a young man and the miracle of that Hope in his life. I think about the line of people at Border Missions loading up their vehicles with produce with the Hope of impacting a life for Christ.
