One registration per team leader, please add your trip participants’ information to the Roster Form below.
2. Participant Release Form
After completing the registration above, please fill out and upload a signed copy of the Participant Release Form to your trip folder which you received access to by email. Every participant on your trip will need to fill out a release form.
3. Travel & Roster InfoRMATION
Please include both students and adult leaders on these forms.

4. Background Checks
Border Perspective requires a Criminal Background Check—national and state—for all trip participants 18 and older. If you are traveling with a group, we need a signed letter stating that all participants over the age of 18 have had a background check completed and cleared on their behalf. Please fill this form out and sign it. This form is due to Border Perspective one month prior to your trip.
Never used a background check company before?
Secure Search offers a “Search My Background,” background check for volunteers. Their “Level 1” option meets the Border Perspective background check requirements.

5. Liability Insurance Form
We require each team to have liability insurance to protect your group. We encourage you to talk to appropriate staff/board members that handle your group insurance to make sure you have adequate insurance for your trip.
6. Make a payment towards your trip
*All payments made to Border Perspective are non-refundable.

+ SERVICE-LEARNING PAYMENT SCHEDULE
8 weeks after your registration date: Deposit & First Participant Count — A $150 deposit per participant is due. This payment will go toward the total trip cost. Deposit payments are non-transferable and non-refundable. After your deposit has been submitted, you will not be able to reduce the number of participants, any participants that drop off before your trip will forfeit any funds they have paid up until that point to cover admin support. However, you can add additional participants after this date.
Final Payment, Final Participant Count and all paperwork is due 30 days before your trip — The final payment of your remaining balance and all paperwork (Background Check & Clearance Authorization Form, Participant Release Form, Group Roster, Travel Information, Proof of Liability Insurance Form and Final Payment) are due.

A one time payment for each participant is required at the time of registration to secure your spot on this trip.
When you have determined dates for your trip in partnership with our Team Liaison, please make a payment and submit the required forms to your trip folder (included in the registration email you received).
