Border Perspective
McAllen, TX — Border Perspective is honored to announce that we have been awarded a $25,000 Faith & Service Project Grant in collaboration with our friends at TENx10. This funding will support our mission to make faith matter more to young people by providing meaningful service and justice opportunities that bring their faith to life. This program is made possible through a Faith and Service Grant from the TENx10 Collaboration at Fuller Theological Seminary, Pasadena, California, with funds provided by Lilly Endowment Inc.
With this generous grant, Border Perspective will offer scholarships to 20 youth in South Texas, enabling them to participate in a transformative service-learning experience this summer. These experiences will not only deepen their understanding of faith and service but also empower them to engage with their own communities in impactful ways.
“Our goal is to inspire and empower the younger generation to actively engage in their faith by creating meaningful opportunities for service, learning, and growth,” said Jenn Moya, Operations Director. “We believe this generation is eager to put their faith into action, and this grant enables us to break down financial barriers, ensuring that more young people can step forward, make a difference, and deepen their spiritual journey.”
Stay tuned as we share stories and videos highlighting the impact of this initiative. For more information about Border Perspective and our programs, visit borderperspective.org.
