Border Perspective ZINE
Border Perspective ZINE
In the spring of 2017, Yonathan & Jordan Moya took a 9-day photographic journey along the U.S. & Mexico border. Their journey was close to 2,000 miles through the border states of Texas, New Mexico, Arizona & California. The Moya brothers grew up on the border but have lived in the Midwest most of their later life. Even though they grew up on the border, they realized they don't know everything about the border. The purpose of their trip was to gain and share a fuller perspective on what life on the border is really like. As they took part in different dialogues, they embraced a fuller understanding of the place they call home.
The Border Perspective zine was shot by Yonathan & Jordan Moya on their 2,000 mile photographic border journey. It is a recap of short stories and a photographic representation of the U.S./Mexico border.
